Default Recommend a book?

Afternoon all.

I am looking to purchase a book suitable for a beginner to entomology that will help me identify insect life. Most of my fishing will be on rivers, and something that suggests patterns or would be of some use to a fledgling tyer would be handy too.

Would anyone be kind enough to recommend a book, preferably one small enough to take with me on days fishing?

Matching The Hatch...Pat O'Reilly comes to mind. I like The Fly Fisherman's Entomological Book....John Cawthorne. A handy reference book to my mind.
There are others but if you had either of these, would fit the bill nicely.
