Recommend a book?
Afternoon all.
I am looking to purchase a book suitable for a beginner to entomology that will help me identify insect life. Most of my fishing will be on rivers, and something that suggests patterns or would be of some use to a fledgling tyer would be handy too.
Would anyone be kind enough to recommend a book, preferably one small enough to take with me on days fishing?

Around the steel no tortur'd worm shall twine,
No blood of living insect stain my line;
Let me, less cruel, cast feather'd hook,
With pliant rod athwart the pebbled brook,
Silent along the mazy margin stray,
And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey
