Default Browns in Lochs

I was fishing up North while on holiday at a chalet park that has its own loch to fish. It was a brilliant place to fish and stocked with Rainbows and browns. The thing was the bigger browns around a pound mark were pure silver with no red spots, if I didn't know that this loch had a grill to stop the Rainbows escaping I would have said they were Sea Trout... Can Browns turn into Sea Trout (superficially Anyways) when in a Loch?

loch browns are often silver in the north, what is strange is that stocked rainbows would be introduced into a healthy wild population with an inlet or outlet.

where is it?

Its a place called Ranch Chalet Park in Delny near Invergordon, the loch is called Loch Katrina... I think cause it is aimed at the tourist staying there they have introduced Rainbows but it is well managed as they haven't over stocked it and Rainbows are introduced at 1 and quarter pounds. I caught a Rainbow within 10mins of being on there and was the only one I seen all week. Took another 7 brownies throughout the week.

The small browns were the usual colours it was just the larger one... one I caught around the pound mark was just the vision of a perfect fish.
