Default Fishing the Liffey

Hi All,
Another newbie to the forum, I'm off to fish the Liffey (North Kildare stretch) soon, just wondering what are the best flies to use on the river, I prefer fishing dries. also does the nz dropper work if there's nothing rising?

If there are little sips on the surface, North country spiders are yer man size 16 to 14 max., and if no rise grhe, upcast on the point of a spider .

Small and smaller flies, 18 or 20 black gnat, iron blue dries work well or pheasant tail nymphs. Cut the hackle off the bottom of the fly so it sits low in the water.
