Never heard of him.

I have personally seen him put out a full line using a bamboo stick, that was at one of the game fairs, He uses Sage rods
Good for him, really useful if he forgets his Sage rod, a bamboo stick indeed.
Does he have anything to do with the Jardine Rod Company?

Tight Lines

I thought like this, until i saw Paul Arden carrying 90ft + of line, with a two foot loop. Its pretty incredible to watch, but it can be done.

He was using a Sage TCR 9ft 5 weight and an XXD 5 line (66ft head).

This involves maintaining very high line speed and superb haul timing.

With this amount of line out, you require a large casting arc. Its when you are in the company of these guys, you realise just how much there is to learn!
