That a 4 day weekend without fishing is more of a tragedy than Lear .

I'm off to Carlisle for Easter and the GF has other plans some of which might seem attractive , but it's still 4 days off without fishing! And then there's the walks past rivers, meres and waters all adding insult to injury.

I think that if I take a rod I'll be dumped, but part of me is thinking no bad thing... maybe I can hide it in the car, engage in some edgy roleplay and leave her tied up while I head to Ullswater?

How did you guys approach this?


PS. All of you with fishing partners can shut it!

I think its best to set out the stall now mate.. cos otherwise she will dictate the rest of your life..

Start by saying you are going to have 2 days fishing, and then compromise and agree to one day..

If she doesn't agree to you having a days fishing then i'd get rid of her...
