I generally only fish in mild to warm weather so it's one pair of sports type socks, the first pair of jeans that come to hand, undercrackers obviously, short sleeve t-shirt if it is warm - long or fleece if it is mild, then my armless fly jacket over that. If it is chucking it down or blowing a gale you'll find me wearing any of the following; duvet, fly tying chair, bar stool. Usually in that order.

Default Actually breathable wader are warmer than you'd think.

Unless it's colder than the shady side of an iceberg I'll just have a heavy pant and poly pro underwear. Major thing is proper socks to keep your feet warm in really cold water.

Yes, it depends on the season. Anything from specialized fleece wading trousers and long underwear to shorts.

Depending on the seasonal weather,

Warm Days, Thermal Waderwick Bottoms, then just 'Chesties' as normal.

Mild Days, Predicted Cold Spells, and Rain, then i'll chuck some EWS Fleece Joggers aswell as the waderwick thermals.

Bloody Cold Days, then the EWS Joggers are joined by a further third under layer, normally a pair of of cottom tracksuit bottoms.

As for socks, normal, cotton socks, unless wading then i'll add possibly a second or third pair. Skiing Socks, or any thermal types. Not too tigh though as the extra compression causes your feet to actually get colder than warmer. But this is something I have experienced through wearing them 'pulled right up'.

Helly Hansen thermal long johns (if cold) and a pair of fleece bottoms. Don't wear jeans cos they don't don't wick away any moisture easily and they have thick seams which always seem to end up on your ankles.

Im with Welshosprey.

Various helly hansen leifa tops and bottoms. Thurlo and bridgedale socks/liners. The fit for purpose all in one fleece gear from simms etc are excellent.

Be warry of wearing jeans or anything else with stiff seams/studs/zips. They can wear the waterproof membrane away from inside.

Ta, Lee.
