This topic may have already been posted, however could not find any results, so do please excuse if this is the case.

From your personal experience what brand of line would work well as an all rounder in salt water and fresh still and running conditions?

I was hoping i could get away with purchasing one really good floating line that i could use in most conditions.

PS. I've kind of narrowed down my search to either the RIO Outbound or SA shark skin, however for salmon fishing and sea bass is a shooting head really necessary or is weight forward sufficient?
