Hi I was wondering if anybody knew of any German fly fishing magazines they could recoumend as my branch manager is heading over there in the summer and he said he would like to get me one as he knows how much I like reading them and he thought I would like a copy of one even though I can't read German. I tried googling for any magazines but after 10 pages of searches I had to go and do other things.

try "Fliegenfischen" (flyfishing) or Europe's biggest monthly angling mag, "Blinker", though it isnt fly only and covers all areas of fishing, game, sea and coarse. You can see it at www.blinker.de

The german mags often do a travelogue feature, usually scandinavia, the photography is often excellent.

there is also "Fisch und Fang" (fish and catch) and Rute und Rolle (rod and reel), but again not fly only. Hope that helps. keith.
