The wind line plays an important part in lakes, often in the warmer months fish with the wind behind you and cast to the ripple or were muck from trees are hitting the water, lots of food there, anywhere there is tree overhang, lillies ,reeds ,clumps of weed , deep pools and so on hold fish, but fish will follow food sources so wind plays a part, in winter i often fish into the wind as near the bank is a under current and yet again an area of food.Dont worry about knowing everyting about fluff chucking ,think of it as a big learning curve that never ends , an adventure
