Default Diawl Bach

Can someone please tell me the correct way to pronounce the name of this fly? I caught 5 on one today and it's embarassing not to be able to give the name of the fly when asked.

Heh heh

Daahl Beck with a rough gutteral accent and a cold castle lager in the hand and a Lion's rugby supporter underfoot........

with an 'ekse my china' thrown in for good measure

Lucky then that i was born of a Hampshire lass who thrashed her son to speak with a home counties accent from the day he was born.

That said, I did err and marry an Essex girl but made sure she lived near Hanningfield and Chigboro before I placed the ring on her finger

Try deeawl bach as in Sebastian.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! welsh means foreigner.Cymry or Cambrian politically correct

Arthur Dailey(for those who can remember) reckoned Druid was more appropriate.

Which diawl bach were you using ?
