Default Yorkshire Dales

Heading down to Giggleswick for a 4 day fishing trip in the first week of May, not fished this area before.
We plan to fish the Wharfe, Ribble and Malham Tarn, but open to suggestions.
Any information from folks who know the area would be a great help.

Dave

if you fish the wharfe , fish the burnsall stretch rather than the bolton abbey stretch .there will be less tourists , probs just the odd walker out .

tickets available from the red lion burnsall .

Hey guys (and any gals), I think you are doing Bolton Abbey an injustice.
I am Devonshire Arms and downstream for it. The cost is high though at 25 pds for a day but it does have quality fish (today got 3 over 2.5 lbs. If you g, give Mark Whitehead a ring. He is the river keeper and is quite approachable. His number is 07752887556.
