Default Sixth Sense Floater

They're excellent for feeling the gentlest of takes but they do suffer with memory. I used one last season and at first it was brilliant but towards the end of the season it got quite 'kinky', still usable just got on my nerves!

Airflo floaters...............Don't

Inters and sinkers great, floaters, more memory than Stephen Hawking.

Their latest advertisment states they have got over the memory problem?? the new Airflo Ridge Ultra Supple - The blurb states casts like an arrow stays straight as a die? You might be able to pick one up fairly cheap and give it a try!

This comes out on autopilot every time "Airflo" and "Floater" appear in the same sentence.

When was the last time you tried one? - and when was it made?

I tried the original Ridge and it was poor, in terms of memory, feel etc.

I just ordered one free with my TF subscription so I will see what it is like. Might be very useful for bung fishing at range where very difficult to pick up all the line.

I had a Sixth Sense Midge tip but had to get rid as there was so little stretch I was getting breakoffs while straight lining.

the original ridge lines were really good in my eyes. i had a DT4, really nice and supple cast like a dream, very slick and mended easily. just got dirty very quickly, and the tip started sinking with a welded loop..... not good.

also had a WF 5/6 sixth sense, which cast nice but ended up with quite a bit of memory.

It comes out on autopilot, due to the large amount of people duped by their aggressive marketing of their cruddy floaters.

I've tried quite a few of their lines, including the Ridge lines and sixth sense floaters. Slightly less memory than their earlier ones, only very slightly less, but they still have that horrible plasticky feel.

I wouldnt use one if it was free.
