Default Airflo sixth sence bin or fix?

Ive got a airflo sixth sence di5 and after about 35ft the blue top layer has come off in parts and i can see the "core"? is this fixable or is this line for the bin

p.s sorry for all the questions internet has been down for like 2 weeks so i got some catching up to do

Try aquasure,But is it a problem you caused or is it a line problem

Not sure, but I thought airflo do a 5 year non-crack guarantee on those. As long as you didn't stand on it etc you should be ok to return it to them....

i got given the line and it was well used but listen

the broken bit it dont leave the tip ring as i cant cast that far so will it be ok?

i was thinking of just putting some super glue layer over it so it dont peel no more

superglue will make a stiff spot. try Aquasure, or try whipping over the area with tying thread then varnish..

Send it back to Airflo and the worst you will get is a voucher entitling you to a brand new line for £15.

Then you can get the line and either use it or sell it on eBay/here for £30 and spend the profit on sherbert dips

I've had a similare problem with my ss Di7 and in my case it was caused by line twist and the thin profile of the fly line.

Untangling a twist during use with cold hands, the top coat just peeled off in 3 places. Aquasure, as Jim suggests, fixed the problem for me as it was only the cover and not the core that was damaged. Check your line and as long as the core is still ok you should be fine.
