Default Tree Meadow Fishery

Hi all

Has anybody had any problems with Tree Meadow Online Store - I ordered a rod 2 weeks ago which came on Friday - and they sent the wrong rod. However I have been I have been unable to raise them either by telephone or email despite numerous attempts.

I will of course be sending the rod back and ask for despatch of the correct item - but the lack of contact worries me.

Hi Crabacle,

The service is usually fast and very friendly...
The last time I visited they were draining/deepening the lakes ready for the start of April... so they may be up to their necks in it... so to speak!!!

Don't worry, they are a reputable source for gear and I'm sure they'll sort it out ASAP

Yes you should be ok John is a pretty fair guy, and as said been working on the lakes,
welcome eval retrieval on your first post, where you from mate.

Hi crabacle

He goes salmon fishing sometimes and then his daughter may help in the shop.

If she isn't able to,maybe its fishing only? someone else helps with the fishing

side.

Don't worry,as the others have said,john is a sound chap.

Hi Marazion Midge,

Although not originally a born & bred Cornishman, I can be found lurking on the hills at the back of Mousehole (Paul/Sheffield way)... Spent a few years opposite the Mount in Marazion too...

Nice area have you fished drift, they have a float tube comp early in the year.

Still no response from them - have tried about 4 times per day.

Poor service whichever way you look at it.

Rod going back tomorrow - customer service non-existent.

I have to say once this is sorted out (if it ever is) I won't be returning to the site.

Yes I had terrible trouble with them last christmas

I rang up to ask if I could still order some le chameau moulon plus boots for my fiance and as it was getting close to christmas I wanted to make sure that they would deliver on time.

I was told instead to pay over the telephone so that they could be sent out next day they didnt come and I rang a couple of days to ask who had they been sent with and I was told that they would chase them up. They didnt come before christmas so I asked again after and they said it was royal mail

They didnt get back to me so I called again and asked for the special delivery number as at the time it stated that parcels sent by courier and would have to be signed for as it was over a certain amount

They said they would chase it up. they didnt I called them and they said i woudl have to chase it up but they had no special delivery number to give me

Rang royal mail and they said that they would need number and seller should get in touch with them. Rang trading standards and they said that they should refund me as it had been over a month and I had recieved nothing

Rang them and asked for my refund they said call back the next day, I did and informed them that I had been in touch with trading standards and I should get a refund. He offered to send me boots out the next day and I said I would prefer a refund he accused me of already having the boots. I informed him that I didnt want to have to wait another month since he hadnt attempted to help at all and didnt appear to have sent out in a traceable way.

It might be an okay place to go fish but I would not trust this place with my online shopping
