Back in the early seventies we were sold the kelly green intermediate as the do anything line , grease it and it floated ,degrease it and it would sink .
well it did sortof ,but not very well !
I always carried a small bottle of fairy liquid and a rag to wipe the inter down to make it sink ,then they were great lines for presenting a slowly fished lure at a variety of depths .
had a couple of seasons where the kelly green and a green backed baby doll caught 90% of my fish (well over the ton in numbers),would hate to do it again !
