i have just heard morton fishery near livingston has new management and new stocking has just been done,i used to fish morton years ago as it's on my doorstep but the fishery went downhill and myself and my club members stop going,am going to give it a try next week,i think it is about 22 acres in size.

I went up on opening day and got my limit, great fish big tails good fighters ,it has changed for the better.

Cats Whisker or anything black worked for me,I was fishing close to the bank where the trees are at the left hand side.

Its a syndicate of clay pigeon shooters thats took it over and they are promising to stock fish up to 20lb.Bring it on as i used to love fishing Morton when Bill was the water keeper as he always looked after you.Things seemed to slip away after Bill moved up north to be near his daughter.So here is to bringing back the good old days at Morton.

i fished this water last year and it was terrible no fish between 10 anglers but the way it looked i said it had good potential so its good to hear its under new management has the potential to be a very good water
