Question Does anyone have a airflo 6th sense

recently got a airflo 6th sense wf floater 6/7. when i tried it, it was total rubish for me it was like waving a piece of string around it,s getting exchanged for a 7/8wt how will this compare to the 6/7. my rod is a diawa signature 7wt Any advice would be helpfull

I think that you simply consider the 6/7 to be a 7 weight line and the 7/8 an 8 weight. Your rod should have no problem at all with an 8 weight floater, in fact you may actually find that it will be easier for you to feel the rod loading and to time your casting. On rods that have a single '7' rating I use 8 weight floaters and intermediates.

I have never used an Airflo floating line, but I know that their floating lines are not spoken very highly of on here. You may be better choosing a different make as well as weight.

Hi Scooby i have in the past used these lines but had lots of problems with them so i would suggest getting a diffrent make for your floater.
Try pitsford pirate on the forum he does lines at very good prices and comes highly recommended by a lot of forum members.

Hi there,

I posted a similar question last year, however i found they cast very well ,just a slinky spring in the water,try one of pitsfords floaters or cortland.
