The funniest fishing story I have. I was night fishing the river Carradale for sea trout a few years ago when I got one of about 4lb it took hard and decided it was going back to the sea and shot down stream at a great rate of knots followed by me, down at the next pool where my pal Mike was fishing it decided to leap out of the river hit mike on the face causing him to panic and jump into the pool the deflection off his face grassed the fish and I rescued Mike then killed the fish. Let me tell you sea trout fishing at night can be dangerous.
Anyone else got stories.

I've mentioned this before on another thread, but it bears repeating.

There was a now legendary instance during an RAF competition on Grafham Water where one of the competitors swung the boat into position to start a new drift, cut the motor, turned around and threw his coat over the back of the boat thinking it was the drogue...
