Hi all,

I have been out of fishing for a few years, but am keen to get back into it and thankfully have a long weekend off next week and so am planning to use that time to get back on the fly.

I live in south Manchester but have a car and was wondering where people would recommend in the region for me to have a relatively easy start back into fishing. Obviously keen to catch a few fish, but would also like somewhere that isn't going to dent my confidence too much seeing as it's been a while!!

Hi Matt, its Charlie (assuming this is the Matt I know). As discussed previously try westlow mere in congleton . Very friendly and helpful. Also good insect life with rising fish pretty much throughout the year. Ticket prices are reasonable and no time constraints.

Give me a ring when your headed up and may even consider coming up from dorset.
