Default Bill Bartles RIP

The Great Bill Bartles died recently of cancer. I was one of the lucky folk that knew him (thanks to John Neville making sure we met). He was simply fantastic at any aspect of fishing, a real all rounder and a true expert. He inspired and encouraged me when I wanted to start writing and was the first Editor to publish any of my work (for the original Angling Telegraph) back in the early '70s.

I will always be indebted to him.
