Default Herons

I was out fishing this morning and ran across a flock of Herons, there was at least 50 of them hopping about the trees behind the dam wall.
The most I have ever seen before was 3 is this a common occurence.
Cheers

Keep a look out under where they roost for discarded feathers. The best ones are the long hackle feathers with herls over four inches long. They are perfect for Kite's Imperials and they cost nowt to gather.
