Well I hope you enjoy yourself. A lesson first up is the best way to start as it prevents many hours of frustration. Even after a prolonged break I went straight to lessons before re-entering the world of tackle and all it's magpie type attraction.

Start here and I am sure you will get lots of names from the forum as well:

Rank Rookie!!!

He'll learn soon enough.......

One can never have enough gear Dear Boy; every whispy wand of carbon delight must be perused and lusted over and every disk of aluminium should be spun in the hand and marvelled at and then.....

....and then buy loads of it and hide it in the garden shed

Only joking.

there are two types of fly fisherman; those that are tackle tarts and those that are on their way to being a tackle tart.

Have fun and enjoy the Forum.
