Unhappy sub standard Great Britan ?

Alex you are 100% correct and not just with waders most things in this country are sub standard you don,t get what you pay for. If you do complain which I do anytime i,m not happy with a product. But I,m a moan I,m to hard to please etc, etc. Time and time again out for meals, people who arn,t happy with what they have been served and they sit and say nothing. thats why they will keep serving it. If everyone stuck together and complained they would get there act together. like America everyone complains thats not happy with anything, the end result quality is as standard. Keep complaining Alan. "were known around the world as rip of britan" !

But were the waders made in UK at all? Did he pay for quality, or are they a far eastern manufactured (cheap) wader marketed under a western "quality brand name" and the top company execs pocket the difference ?
A rhetorical question. Just a reminder that the missing quality goes somewhere, usually into someone's pocket!

Alan,
there might be condensation even with breathables if the waders were cooled with moisture laden air inside. They won't breathe much in a basin of water. So it depends on how humid things were when you initiated your first test. It's a relative thing what I'm describing, not saying you tested them wrong!
A suggestion which might help:
Another test is in order just to be sure before you return them.
Later, swab them down with coloured tissue, if it goes sodden and darkens this will be very visible in a photo, and you can email a photo to the maker and ask for their comment and suggestions.
You also have the photo to show the shop where you got them if and when you go in for a refund/alternative pair.
