Default Blobs

Reading the Blobshop thread made me wonder- what makes a good blob, excluding colour ? I only use one occasionally, on the top dropper (as an attractor), and usually orange or peach. My efforts look quite sparsley tied compared to the professional blob- what's best?

G,

Different strokes for different folks really.

Some prefer the 'thinned out' blobs, with lots of fiberous movement, some prefer the heavily 'dense' blobs, with as much fritz fibres on the hook as possible to create the most amount of water dispersal as its wizzed throught the water.

I have mine tied in both styles, using the Cactus style fritz, for the thinner blobs, and the plush/big reel/FF-UK/Dave downie style of fritz for dense, water wizzers!
