I've been using a Guideline Pontoon now for a few years and love it. Float-tubing is just the best fishing experience - you'll be smiling from ear to ear when you first get 'afloat'.

Klink,

Have a look here

Although there are a couple of Pros on this forum.

I think the Shakey Expedition is the preferred "budget" option.

Steve Partons site has a wealth of info.

A must is a life jacket

Hi,

I've both the full round float tube and the "V" shaped float tube. I would prefer the "V" shaped tube. Its easier to get in and out of the water and its quicker to travel around in. I bought mine in the States but as stated earlier in the thread Steve Parton has these type of tubes and I heard they are pretty good. When getting neoprene waders make sure that the boot (welly type)is fully lined with neoprene. The cheeper waders end the neoprene at the boot/welly which leeds to problems i.e. cold feet, leaks etc. Flippers are flippers IMO.

Tubing is a class way to go fishing in. You'll be amazed at how close you can get to fish even wild fish.

Enjoy & best of luck.

Default Tube

Give Steve Parton a ring and buy one direct. He does several models including the expedition which he designed. Cheaper than the shops folks!
