called Blank Busters, as you probabaly know I,m new to Fly Fishing and are
eager to learn so expect me to be on this forum most nights. So I just
wondered what your thoughts were on them.

I liked the photographed that showed you what they looked like when the trout shone their little UV torches on them.

Ok but nothing special.

As for being "blank busters", I would rename anything like that a "blank guaranteer" in last weekend's conditions of ice bound water that looked more like oxtail soup.

Black and green booby or cat booby - that's more what I would call a blank buster

No, but seriuosly they look like nice buzzers and they are not at all expensive. Not sure if they are still available, but if you search the classified for Scratch's buzzers you will see some beauties.

Certainly still available - they are tied in a factory in either Kenya or Sri Lanka ...

Kind regards

Scratch's buzzers ARE outstanding but, you know what, I don't think buzzer patterns matter that much so long as they are slim

In my experience, when they are on buzzers, if you get the depth and presentation right and maybe the colour (at least black, brown or green), you'll catch whether they have orange cheeks, sunburst cheeks, red ribbing, silver, breathers, peacock herl thorax, etc.....................
