.

I would have preferred that they had reduced the cost of the licences rather than spending extra on printing pretty pictures.
However, any extra cost has probably been more than covered by the recent decrease in the allowance for concessionary licences for pensioners and the disabled.

Ours are very different, but I like those. The perch is really nice. Makes ours look really boring.

Hmm... full licence went up by £1 on a price of £25 last year, concessionary full licence went up 50p on £16.25 - that's better, not worse.

Granted, the sea trout and salmon licence went up £2 on a last year price of £68 or a 2.94% increase over last years price. Whereas, the concessionary licence went up £1.50 on a price of £45 last year, or an increase of 3.33% which is slightly worse. In fact, you've been diddled by a whopping 0.4% or a grand total of 18 pence if you buy a concessionary migratory trout licence. Of course, if you normally buy a non-migratory licence you're comparatively better off by about 15 pence.

Adz,

Until recently (the year before last, I think) the concession for OAP's and disabled was 50%.
The 50% concession also used to apply to those on certain state benefits but that was withdrawn in 2005.
