Can't come up with a wortwhile positive on that one. Controlled by ex colonials who claim they operate in the corridors of power to ensure we fellow fisherman do not get a raw deal. Unimpressed especially when you read their annual rag "Gamefisher" whose content is appalling. Compare it to "Salmo Trutta" from the WTT and in the academic world its similar to comaring a Ladybird publication with a Stephen Hawking. Stick to ACA (now AnglingTrust) and/or WTT- I am a life member of both.

Thank you gentlemen.

Just to let you know I am with WTT and am leaning towards a membership with Angling Trust.

I was looking at some fishing as detailed to WTT members and found a couple of attractive looking rivers whereby the fishing was discounted if one was a member of S&T. But you guys have now convinced me that S&T are probably better left alone and for me it may be better to pay a premium.

Thanks again

I thought giving to a charity was a selfless thing. Why should we be looking to get value for money?

Thanks, I see. In that case I get excellent value for money with the WTT.

I would not judge either by their annual 'rag' as you indelicately put it.

ps. How sure are you that your ACA membership has transfered to Angling Trust life membership?
