Would it cover club members when they are working on bankside improvements and on work parties? This is when many accidents, injuries and potential claimes arise.
The 'insurance for anglers' quoted may not cover this, let alone the non-members that often accompany and assist such groups.

My club is meticulous in ensuring that non-members on work-parties are also insured. I think it costs about £5 to cover such assistants but a negligence claim involving a lost limb, eye or even death could well bankrupt a club or its trustees.
