Default Wading boots return

Just a quick heads up for Tackletrade, I bought some wading boots from them before Xmas, and ordered 1 size up on normal shoe size.
To go with stocking foot waders this is usually the case.
I know it's better to try them on in the shop, but this was impossible for me to do.
Anyway they were great quality boots and fitted very well, I just felt it would be better having another size up to be sure, and also put a sock on if needed.
I rang them yesterday and spoke to a very nice chap called Dave, who seems to be in charge there, not a problem.
Send them back and we will send you a larger size, and no postage charge either, they were free post to begin with, so I think that's service above and beyond. Hats off to a pleasant, friendly, and competitive company.

It's good to hear such reports about the tackle trade. I'm muscling in a little on Steven's thread, so pse forgive me, but it gives me the chance to say a public thankyou to Terry Pillips, Wildtrout ( Andrew ) and Kisauni (Joel ) who have all given excellent service to me in my first year on FFF. Cheers, All TC

Default Good service

I got the same offer to return the boots if not fitting from Grommit (don't know if he was covering return postage mind 'cos I didn't ask). Still haven't wet the boots yet for one reason or another so I won't know about the fit for sure 'till I do.

I take your point about allowing possibly more than 1 size up, I've bought mine at 1 size up and they're a v tight fit with 2 pairs of thick socks under the waders, but ok with 1 thin + 1 thick. Probably due to them (Greys Platinums) being on the narrow side for me.

A Vote for Joel here too.
