Default Mull of Kintyre

It's close season, and to stop boredom setting in I have been perusing my back issues of T&S.
Happens every year, anyway I came across a fantastic article, about a Loch on the Mull of Kintyre, in an 8 year old copy.
It's called Coille Bhar, and I just wondered, do we have any Scottish friends on here who are familiar with it.
After reading the article written by Malcolm Goddard, for the third time, I just have to go there.
Anyone?

Hi' Steven, Working from memory, I think it's a forestry loch.
Just found it in Bruce Sandison's book. No bank fishing, but 2 boats, according to 'the man'. It's off the Lochgilphead to Tayvallich road. You may remember my saying that Tayvallich Estate was owned by the Pollock family, and left to Kate, the middle of three daughters, when Mr. Pollock died back in 1971. Jane got Winderwath House and Bridget got Red Hills farm, the fishing rights of which Penrith AA own. Prince Phillip and Uffa Fox used to call in there with PPs yacht, as Tayvallich has a good harbour. What a load of tripe, I hear you say!! Terry.

Paul and I aren't speaking at the moment, something to do with my wife being a relative of Heather.

Come on, some of you Scottish gentlemen must have been here.
Or is it so good, you want to keep us Sassenachs away.
