Hi All
I need some advice with tapered braided leaders please.
When am I supposed to use them and what is the advantage? I have them ranging from floating to extreme fast sink . They where given to me as a present. Do they work on only floating lines or all?

I match mine up with the line, floating braided leader on a floating line, intermediate braided leader on an intermediate line and so on.

You can, however, use a sinking braided leader on a floating line and use it as a sort of sink-tip line - which can prove handy for nymphing.
