Cheers for that, Bruce. I hope they test a weaker, more practical set of line B/S
I know that some competition fishers use the heavier weights, and powerful rods, for skull-dragging fish in a hurry. At least, that's what I hear, but most of us use 4 to 8lb nylon, coplymer, fluoro or double-strength. And the testers ought to know that all of these are 'monos'. Lines that aren't monos are braided, twisted or cable-laid. I'm not trying to be clever, but referring to nylon as the only mono must confuse the newbies to fishing. We should try to avoid that.
Thanks again; I don't have a problem with knots in fluoro, but have not said so previously. Now I can, cheers. TC
