Default FlyBuyer??????????

Anyone used the website in the last 7-10 days?

I ordered some flies for my nephews xmas box, with my HSBC Maestro, not a Switch card as they state they dont accept it?.

Am I just being a bit thick, by thinking these are the different cards? As I realise that Maestro used to be called Switch.....

Anyways, I have emailed 'Ali' 6 times this week, asking for an answer, and also called them twice a day. But still nee answer, no money taken, and no flies...

Anyone?

Never tried flybuyer before.

But these guys have never let me down.

Cheap, good quality, and quick delivery.

Default Not insured with a Maestro

Used flybuyer a couple of weeks ago. Not as quick as some online retailers, but had no problems.

Small word of advice with online transactions, USE A CREDIT CARD. The reason for this is that you will be insured if anything goes wrong. Bank debit cards, Maestro, switch, visa payment etc, don't necessarily insure you against the purchase/retailer.

Cheers

I have checked old statements to find the name that appears on it for Flybuyer, I was curious to see if I had used my Maestro or my partners Mastercard last time I used Flybuyer, turned out it was my Maestro that they accpted no trouble, so I will keep an eye on it and try to contact them again

Cheers

When you purchase an item online, you should ideally receive an immediate e-mail from the seller confirming that your order has been received and that your payment has been processed successfully. You should also be given some indication of when to expect delivery, either by e-mail or via information provided on the seller's website.

Aye JG, I realise this, I did receive an email confirming order and payment, but, however, no futher correspondance was received.

No Money has left my account after 5 days, and no emails....

Im a bit wary as I ordered some AeroDry Wing from them back in September, and I received the order confirmation, payment accepted, however, again, nothing debited from my account, and no word to say otherwise....no, 'Sorry, We're out of stock', or anything.....

I Know they are a successful online fly retailer but a Bit lacking in the customer contact IMO.....

After another email this morning, basically, 'kicking off' about lack of contact, order updates etc, I received a response from flybuyer only 5 mins ago.

All is well again.....

I had a similar experience with flybuyer about 2 months ago. I ordered some flies, received a prompt confirmation email from Ali and then waited, and waited. After about 2 weeks there were no arrivals, and it then took several complaining emails to Ali and another week to finally get the flies dispatched.

All the flies finally arrived, and were the usual good quality.

Regards,

wjd

The original email you get from FlyBuyer is automated.
I know the e-commerce application they are using well, so when you place an order you get the automated response, and usually a copy is sent to the 'sales' team/person. You are then at the mercy of the 'sales' team reading their emails.

Flybuyer do seem to be a re seller for Fulling Mill etc, so there maybe stock problems. Suggestion to Flybuyer, if you are watching, utilise the stock monitoring function in your e commerce application.

Good flies though IMO
