Hello to all Form Members

has anyone fished at Hazelcopse fishery in surrey/sussex recently?

Although I last fished there around 1.5yrs ago - I do remember it being a great value fishery and the owner always being good for some political banter. The fishing seldom let us down and there was always the chance of a heft rainbow or brown or even a big salmon with a number of 30-40lb'ers being landed and released.

Was think ing of heading there next week for a pre-Christmas session but just dont know if the fishery is still active or not.

Hoping someone may have heard or been there recently?

Not been for some time,but its still open.Think the Salmon have gone as Wilf was finding it hard to source them and the costs were going up.
Might be heading down there after Xmas,before the return to work on 5th Jan.

Well, we fished Hazelcopse yesterday and happy to report that Wilf is still going strong and the same goes for the incredible quality and strength of his fish.

I have seldom come across such good, strong fish; they never gave up!

He has also stocked some huge fish in his lakes - we had a 20lb'er roll in front of us all morning but just wouldnt take any fly we threw across his/her nose.

well worth a visit
