I am just wondering if there are any grayling in this stretch of the cart? because i was planning on trying for them there but i dont want to fish and start hitting to many trout.

Cheers

Default Grayling

Try the area either site of the CROSSLEE pub near.
I've fished the Gryffe and Cart most of my childhood and youth. The only productive area for grayling was as mentioned.
Hope this helps.

Try PM PeterG, he is a member of paisley & abercorn angling club, think they control the water down their. Tried that section years ago, only caught eels

Next to no chance of a grayling behind the airport water too slugish and bracish at times not the kind of conditions grayling likethe gryffe is just recovering as a grayling fishery so putting back what you catch is best if you fish it that is.

Permit needed for the gryffe and dont think you can get day tickets at this time of year i think its only members that can fish after the salmon season closes i may be wrong.

And its known as the black cart water behind the airport white cart doesnt come into the equasion until below the swing bridge.
