long time lurker,recently joined.live in dumfries,loch fish for browns occasional
rainbows.fish clyde for trout and for the first time,grayling.i am finding info re annan as well.i enjoy the days outdoors and if i catch fish its a bonus,my days of bag filling are gone.if i can help any one,ill do my best.i am age 50+ and have fished on and off most of my life.

thanks everyone for the welcome.
havent fished jericho for a year or two,i heard the lease has been renewed but i dont know as fact.i did catch a" sunday post trout" at jericho many years ago,think i got brandy for the tag!

Theres a good few guys from Dumfrieshire/Ayrshire and we usually have a forum day out a couple of times a year so no doubt you will end up with a few new fishing partners through the forum

Hi' Billy, welcome to the forum. You should feel at home, as there are a fair
number of your compatriots on here. Also, a few Cumbrians, just a kick up the bum from Metal Bridge for some of us.
Haven't fished Jericho for about four or five years, but used to fish Andy's water, Drum Loch, near Dalswinton -- a nice top-of-the-water fishery, with a good pike or two in it that my mate and I failed to catch one day. We were menbers of Dalbeattie AA for about six years, and Upper Annandale AA for quite a long while. I remember we called on Jimmy Younger one day. Happy days. TC
