Default First Post -- Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi, I'm Mike Ormsby from Ontario Canada. I am an aspiring (read "wannabe") writer who fly fishes. So guess what I write about fly fishing!!!! (I know you're probably saying "Oh God not another one!!!!"). Any way I post my stories on various fly fishing forums back in North America -- even have my own blog. But I was told this is the toughest forum foran aspiring writer of them all. In fact let me quote the post regarding that:

If you want to experience some British comment on your writings, try this http://www.flyforums.co.uk/viewpoint/ this forum has been the most entertaining experience on the net I have had in years. They hold back nothing and do it in a fairly civilized and educated fashion. One has to have a lot of "guts" to post there. They just devoured a writer from Wisconsin--good sport for them. And, yes, it is a flyfishing forum.

So since I love to rise to a challenge -- and mostly since I would love to share some of my story with you here goes nothing -- I'm starting off by posting three "stories", the first as a way of introduction, the last two just to see how you like my writing -- I look forward to your responses

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the forum. There's nothing goes down better on here than Good Fishing Tales but "Good" is the operative word.

If it's rubbish there's no "British Decorum" on here, believe me.

It's always nice to welcome people from your side of the pond.

I think Mikes use of the word "story" was right. He is going to post stories that are chapters in Mikes story.

Sort of "In my fathers house are many mansions".

Perhaps he plans on apposing more than one story.
