Default Favourite TV angler.??

Further to the thread below, who's your favourite telly angler?? I know i won't get them all on here, but i hope to have as many as i can that fly-fish.

Also, who would you LIKE to see present a fishing show? and what sort of emphasis would be your favourite?

BR
Alex

Paul Young for me as he seems fairly grounded and knowledgable of his quarry, plus the lucky git seems to get big fish everywhere he goes

I find Matt Hayes is very informative on rig set ups etc. and seems like another person who would be good craic on a days fishing.Wilson s constant chuckling would give an anadin a headache

Paul Young will win this by a country mile and I like him a lot but I think Accidentals series was superbly presented and good enough to interest a wider audience.

He gets my vote.

PS. I voted and then looked at the poll..neck and neck, so far

Poll is multi-answer so you can vote for more than one if you can't decide on one... I went for Chris Yates too. loved his passion series.

Paul Young for me as well. A capable angler who is imbued with the spirit of angling, and seems a genuinely nice guy as well.

John Wilson was excellent for over 20 years, bless him, but now shows distinct signs of having run out of steam and ideas. Matt Hayes runs those 2 a respectable third. Our very own "Accidental" is a promising newcomer !!

Best TV Aangler has to be Chris Yates,

The other contender is John Wilson who has encouraged more people to go fishing than any other.

Both great but for different reasons.
