Default Fishing near Amersham

Ok, haven't been fishing much at all recently and have to say it's starting to show (don't ask...)
Am off to my brother's this weekend near Amersham in bucks and was wondering if anyone knew of any grayling streams or even (god help me for saying this on an open forum), put'n'take fishery nearby?

Starting to think if I don't cast a rod some time soon I'm going to loose my marbles.

Any help appreciated.
Bri

No grayling in the Chess I'm afraid which is the only local fishable stream. Nearest probably the Kennet.

The Colne is not too far away (Uxbridge, Harefiled and Rickmansworth) and you'd probably be able to catch a chub, pike or a perch on the fly from there.

I grew up round there but most of the put and takes I used to fish have closed down I think.

Church Hill is probably your nearest stockie bashing location :

Yes Brian, you could benefit from my misfortune. Would also recommend the C&R fishing at Farmoor.

Sheephouse is not far from Amersham, Felix Farm is a bit further, awkward to find though.

Cannot believe this. Arrived home so late from work and in a rush to drive over and then went and forgot my fishing gear...

gutted - especially with Andy and jon's offers!
