i think in total i must have over 20....But alot of those were from when i was a junior..

I think i got 5 in 2006, 3 from weshouse trout lakes and 2 from lockwood beck

i didnt enter any last year but got one this year...... from westhouse but i have also had 2 other doubles this year on a catch and release ticket which i could not verify, so didnt enter them...

But IMO its all down to luck

Ive got quite a few but i don't wear them. not for any particular reason just never got round to it, and tbh do think you can look a bit of a bellend covered in them! Most of mine have come from the smallies. (Avington/Lechlade/Chalk Springs/Tavistock) but i think i got one once for a fish out of Grafham.

emmm im pretty lucy and have quite alot of waters close to me, which have alot of big fish in, But funnily enough i most of my doubles at lockwood beck which isnt know as a double water, so i think its just luck really........

I only have 4 badges on my vest, all the rest just sit in my draw, TBH id rather take them all off my waist coat, as IMO just cos people have alot of badges it doesnt make them a better fisherman, it might just mean they maybe have time to fish a few times a week..........

But it is damn nice to catch a troot or too...

i think most of my old junior Trout master badges are at my parents house somewher......

I also caught 3 3 or 4 big fish last year hich i didnt enter either....

strangly enough i have been fishing since i was 9 years old and unitll 2 season ago i had never caught a double, but once i caught one they seem to come alot more offen..so 16 years without a double then a seem to get a fair share now.....

i dont think i would wear the badge but it would be awsome to catch a double , i have had a fish on which i thought was a double may be high 9's but i lost it when trying to net it from an awkward bank , think that was at newmills about 12 years ago . But river fishing is where i spend most of my time and seldom go to a still water , but things will change

imagine catching a double on a home made fly ................. drool ....

I've got quite a few now but don't wear them, I think one of my old jackets has got my first one on! The best part of it all is that my old man who has been fishing for ever still hasn't got one despite catching his fair share of big fish-he once held the Brownie record from Avington for about a week back in 1980something with a 6lb 14oz fish but the bloke who caught the new record the next week got the badge. Every season he starts with 'i'm gonna get one this season'-one day I'm sure he will!!
