Default Where to buy a Snowbee Fly Mate Vice?

Hi,
I intend getting myself a Snowbee Flymate, fly tying vice, the one with a heavy stand and an extra joint, they retail at £52-00 although Devon angling have them on offer at 10% off making it around £45-80 + postage?

Is there any-where else I should look for one? Or does anyone have one for sale?

Oh, if any of you use one, let me know what you think of it?

I haven't seen one up-close, only pictures of it on the net! The write up and photos of the vice, look excellent.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Mostyn

Default Flymate Vice

Hi
I use a flymate without the extra joint and until I can afford a much more expensive model I will happily carry on using it.
They are very good value for money.

no problem mate

the guys who made the vices tried to sell them only via the website. this was never going to work. they were good vices but they never got the marketing right. they have now ceased making the vices. maybe one day they will start again, pitty, as i said they did get good reveiws and were good vices. i did have reservations about the colours so in the end they produced a vice made of brass and steel which looked great. and did the job well.

cheers
