Default Fly fishing books

Hi all,

I want to buy a friend who is new to fly fishing, a book which can teach him the basics and which covers tips/techniques on casting, tackle and flies (which ones to use and at what time of the year to use them etc)

Any help would be apprciated!

Regards
Fbs
