Default Can America Help

Hi All,

Was in the Dominican Republic last week, and whilst avoiding the tail end of Hurrican Ike or Hurricane someone or other, sat down and watched a bit of tele and drank the contents of the fridge. ( as you do ) Anyway one of the advert's was for a product called SHAMWOW, it's a bit like shammy leather but its not

This stuff sucks up water better than two hookers on a job and finish, and i was thinking it could be good cut into small patches and used for drying flies

I have been to the web site but can not get a reply from them. so i was wondering if any of our U.S.A members can get hold of it and how much the postage would be, i know the product is about £10ish for a load of the stuff, and if i can get hold of it,and it work's i could cut it into reasonable size patches and post it out to anyone who want's to try it.

If you want to see what i am talking about google it hear.......

shamwow.com

Just a thought all the best T.K........

Thumbs down I'd be a bit careful ordering this product.

If you google shamwow.com you also get quite a few reviews; very 'mixed' to say the least. That said, the product is a knock off of a camping pack towel made by the makers of the Therm-a-rest pack mattresses.

A lot of folks who swim (pools) use this (type of) product for a quick dry off. Remember the swimming events at the last Olympics? All the swimmers/divers were using these when they got out of the pool.

Best of all, they're 'cheap as chips' to buy. Check out a store that sells camping gear and save yourself a lot of grief.
