Default fly fishing newbie

I was wondering if theres any locations around teesside i could go and do a little bit of fly fishing, im just getting into it and ive had a few lessons but its a bit expensive going to the reservoirs all the time and i need some practice really so if there was somewhere i could go and pratice cast and maybe catch a few things too it would be good for my confidence
