Default Middleton Tactics

Having never fished Middleton, any idea what patterns do well, do they prefer 10s or 12s, Floating or sinking lines?

I have caught a few on Middleton with traditional patterns like Kate McLaren etc but the fly for Middleton is the Yellow Owl dry fly which, conveniently, can be purchased at the fishing hut.

Its a nice place m8. Are you coming up with Doonicus?
