Unhappy need a new rod

alrite people i have just broken my fly rod . i was just out fishing had got to the river walked about a mile to get to the spot i wanted to fish and got there and was just starting to get my line out and got caught on a bit of grass and i tried pulling it instead of climbing up the bank again and it just snapped so any one got any recomendations for a good rod thats good for casting etc. thanks

what is your price range etc! my friend. sorry to hear about the rod is it not got a guarantee as you could try for a new section if it does ...depending what manufacturer it is ...

well i have about £200-£300 i reckon that would be enough. No im not goin to get a new section i need a new rod anyway . i havent been down to the fishing shop yet but i was going too see what people on here recomend then i could probly get it off a fishing website or some thing.

A St Croix Avid would be a good bet.

Super river rod.

with £2/300 you could go to the St. Croix Legend Ultra and have change..an even superer river rod.

I think the Legend Ultra will be around £230ish in the UK.

Will know more i prices this weekend.

I'll 2nd the st croix avid , spent ages looking for a new rod this summer for the river .

got it the other week (9ft 4wt 4 pce) , tried it on tues , love it !!

not really a rod though .....more of a wand
