Hi,

I havent used my new fly gear yet, got it last week but havent had time. However my first attempt at spinning a seagull took the lure through its bottom jaw but I managed to release it.

I am going to try and set up my fly fishing gear this weekend and see if I can get some casting practice in the river Adur near where I live on sunday . Wish me luck

Mike

I still manage to "catch" plenty of trees and bushes - with the odd trout in between.

Good luck newbies

I had my first go at Grafham from the bank. I can honestly say I don't think the family jewels have been so cold! I'll have to wear some thermal shreddies if I'm going to spend any length of time wading.

I caught b*gger all as well.
