Hello all

I am planning a days grayling fishing on the Test in the first week or 2 of october, i plan to do a mid week day on the basis that it might be quieter, the day ticket is a very agreeable 18 quid which gets you 8 am too dusk on three miles of bank, hear reports of good bag rates with the unfortunate by catches of sea trout and brownies obviously C+R....

Anybody fancy joining me ?? gonna pack up a good lunch and a flask and make a day of it...

let me know sooner rather than late and what date is good.. could make this a Hampshire FFF social of sorts but in a very casual way...

I've been trying to work out if I could join you but having numerous things stopping me. Got holidays to cover for the first 3 weeks in October, which makes a day off mid-week very difficult. Wife's birthday, fly fishing tackle to buy etc.

If you do another day a bit later in the year I should be ok to join you. Especially as I still have 6 days leave to take! That's provided you can put up with a complete beginner!!
