Default Fishing on the Fowey - Respryn and Lostwithiel

Hi,

Off on holiday tommorow and have a day pass from the wife to go fishing, I am told that there is some free water on the Fowey at both Respryn bridge and Lostwithiel, but stuggling to find any details....

Can anyone advise about this...or any other reasonably priced water for a day out?

Cheers

Paul

Thanks,

Thanks for the link

Tough fishing and access doesnt bother me at all quite used to "combat fishing" (as my brother put it on our last little trip)

When does the trout season close on the Fowey?

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Beanzy,

Cottage has wireless!

Will try to get out over the next few days (baby permitting), have a very limited range of tackle with me but hopefully the 8wt swff travel rod will cope with a tube fly. If not its all going to be a bit lifht with the 5 weight!

Thanks for the info its much appreciated as this is the first fishing I'll have had since the baby was born.

Will let you know how i get on.

Thanks

Paul
